I keep bumping my Ys backlog up since I've yet to complete II and have just started Ys VIII and Ys Origins, lol. This, as stated, doesn't include any kind of feats from the Celestians.Д¬lick to shrink.I don't mean to be a stickler for spelling or anything but his name is Dark Fact, and I'd completely forgotten about that feat, I've only recently beaten Ys I and am rather far into Ys II. In short: Adol with only Ys 8 wins after a long fight and Adol with everything up to Ys 8 should win easily. Falz keeps up with the platform and Adol keeps up with Falz. The fights happens on a plattform which shoots past stars and in the latter half apparently galaxies in seconds. This would put Adols power at (low) multiversal as a high end.ДЇor speed: The final boss of Ys 1, Dark Falz, creates a separate dimension filled with stars. Both can be used to determine Adols best speed and best strength feats I know of.ДЇor strength: In Memories of Celceta the final boss basically absorbs the power to keep the universe and all its possibilities in check. There are two games that are important to note: The very first game Ys 1 and Ys Memories of Celceta. Sincr the Ys games aren't chronological retelling of Adols life, I looked at the Ys wiki to see the timeline. Adol with feats from all of his games, that are set prior to Ys 8 Basically it is a coin toss with maybe an advantage for Adol for being more experienced and for the fact that the speer advantage isn't that big compared to their power difference.Дў. This combination may be his best bet of winning, but if Roddick can prevent Adol from evading at the last second, he could also wear him down with his superior speed.

Which can become dangerous if Adol can pull of a 'Flash Dogde', which slows down time for him. He can outrun a black whole and there are some lasers he can dogde, so I would say, that Roddick should be around 3 times faster than Adol. Speedwise however he lacks anything to compare him to light speed iirc. This would put Adol at max around universal in power and defense, which seems to eclipse everything from Roddick that I could find excluding the Celestians (I couldn't find anything that would allow me to judge their power level tbh). Next to feats, but before I begin, I will make to sections here, one where Adol only gets feats from Ys 8 and one where I will go over Adols feats shown in every game in his timeline that happens before Ys 8.ДЄdol strongest enemy is the 'Origin of Life' which is described as 'the old universe that hasn't been restored yet'. And Roddick's defense against status ailments won't be of much use, since Adol doesn't use ailments. Similar to Roddick Adol is a master of the blade.

The Mythril Shield prevents him from being paralyzed in any way, and the Sylvan Mail prevents him from being petrified/turned to stone, as well as makes it harder for him to be knocked back or knocked down.ДЇinally, there's his special attacks, his Secret Fighting Techniques, which are all showcased here:

Then we have the Dream Crown, which literally absorbs fire and wind magic, which means instead of dealing damage, it heals the wearer when attacked with any type of fire or wind magic. But we'll take his 'ability to move at the speed of light' with a grain of salt, haha. On top of that, the Ring of Lightspeed, is quite literal, in that it allows the user to move at the speed of light: 'A magical ring that imbues the wearer with the movement of light and gives the wearer two extra attacks.' I can take a screenshot in-game if the description on the wiki and the description I've provided here isn't enough. As for Roddick's speed, he's able to teleport and move so fast he's able to appear as a blur, using Godspeed and Backstab, respectively, unfortunately I wasn't able to find a video showcasing them directly, so I'll record one myself at a later time and post it here.
